Parent Testimonials

Thank you for your contact and for letting us know about this exciting time in GHES' history. We are so proud to be an alumni family -- you are welcome to use any of my statements from previous emails or surveys as testimony of the amazing work you all do for young children and families in our community. One of the main reasons we chose GHES was proximity to our home and we loved that we could bike/walk and pick up at the drop of a hat. But being in the community came to mean so much more -- everything from learning about who helps us and works in our community, to exploring the environment around us and learning all sorts of important things about the world through activity and exploration -- the playgrounds and facilities were top-notch and developmentally appropriate as well as nurturing and intellectually stimulating for young children. We also appreciated the emphasis on diversity and the ongoing opportunities for enrichment and learning through art, music, Spanish language, PE/creative movement, and on and on! And finally and most importantly, it was the dedicated and loving teachers and staff that supported our child and family to grow and develop and thrive. You all are always in our hearts. I hope that if I can provide other information, that you please call on me anytime!
With gratitude,

Georgetown Hill has become a second family to the Hecklingers! It is so reassuring to leave your young children in the care of those who love them like we do. Not only did they learn the necessary social and academic skills to be successful for Kindergarten, each one of us has made life long friends. It's been more than day-care, or pre-school, it's been a second home and we are so grateful. While we are excited that Henry, our youngest, has the adventures of elementary school ahead of him, we will miss our dear friends at Georgetown Hill tremendously.

Georgetown Hill is a very special place. It’s a place where parents leave their children in the most loving and caring hands. The staff is exceptional and brilliant in their teaching methods. They are truly dedicated to helping children achieve their full potential in a loving environment. My children felt special every single day and that they could achieve anything. I was so fortunate to have all three of my children at Georgetown Hill and I will always be thankful to the special teachers at Georgetown Hill.

Celebrating over a quarter century of service to the community!
