USNRC Campus

Georgetown Hill at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) in North Bethesda, Maryland, offers full-day, full-year care to children ages three months through Kindergarten.

Georgetown Hill began operating at this campus in July, 2004 and most recently received its re-accreditation in September, 2006 under the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

This campus is also approved as a non-public school under the Maryland State Department of Education for children ages two through Kindergarten.

All staff receive yearly continued education and are First Aid and CPR-trained.

GHES at USNRC features:

  • A beautiful, safe, state-of-the-art setting equipped and maintained by the General Services
  • Administration (GSA) Office of Child Care.
  • A nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack catered daily
  • A clean and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers with plenty of natural light and stimulating materials

GHES at USNRC must give priority of enrollment to the following families, in order of priority:

1. USNRC employees
2. Federal employees
3. The outside community
